Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:
Software Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

In this role you will apply technical resources to accelerate the timely, reliable and secure delivery of open source data, information, and insights. This project requires an application developer to support, maintain, and enhance an existing data exploitation platform, and to enhance the existing collection requirements management system. There is a component of reverse engineering existing technology as well. You will work in a team environment, sometimes individually on certain tasks, and will occasionally be called on to mentor more junior developers.
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience performing ETL activities including, but not limited to, parser development and deployment; data flow management; implementing data lifecycle policies; troubleshooting data access issues; and developing data models
- Experience supporting data engineering efforts to analyze large data sets and derive data relationships
- Demonstrated experience performing data migration including the design, implementation, and management of migration efforts
- Demonstrated experience using and applying Splunk
- Demonstrated experience maintaining Jenkins Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with automated testing and deployment
- Demonstrated experience using Java, Python, Spring, Kafka, Elastic, and EMR Hbase
