Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:
Linux System Administrator - Senior
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits

You will work on a team that provides O&M, system engineering, system administration, and application development using Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) tools, specifically Splunk, as well as a custom unique environment. With provided specialized equipment, you will satisfy field operations requirements, prepare reports, familiarize non-technical people with technical capabilities, and conduct hands-on work. As a member of a multi-discipline team, you will utilize your creative problem solving skills to find unconventional technical solutions to challenging on-going operational requirements in non-traditional environments.
The appropriate candidate should have experience with the following:
- Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
- Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 level customer support for the customer's applications.
- Able to identify capabilities and knowledge gaps, and making necessary forward leaning recommendations to address any deficiencies through research, understanding, and applying emerging technology.
- Remotely deploying, operating and maintaining Linux servers by monitoring status, installing patches, upgrades and software as required.
- Experience with remote build and recovery of servers and all associated software is a must.
- Experience serving as a Senior Linux Admin to lead the other admins in the managing, developing and maintenance of the customer's cyber platform, to ensure a 24x7 run time.
- Experience on how to scan compliance and maintain patching compliance for all the software and servers.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Demonstrated experience developing and deploying systems in our customer's cloud environment.
- Demonstrated experience providing system administrator support in a large Linux multi-domain environment.
