Network Security Engineer

Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:

Network Security Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits


Only applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed.

You will lead and manage data security strategies, ensuring the implementation of robust Zero Trust principles within government data environments. You will apply sound engineering practices, good judgement and technical skills to achieve both short and long-term goals as established by client management. You will perform technical analysis for ops support working with a dynamic team to identify opportunities for new technical operations, inform risk management, and best practices for critical ongoing operations. 

Qualifications:
  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience conducting network penetration testing, information security, red teaming exercises, network incident response, and malware forensics.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting or providing direct technical/targeting analysis support to computer network exploitation operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to find and synthesize information from a variety of proprietary and open-source information sources to develop sound cyber operation concepts and detailed proposals, and drive ongoing operations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of, and experience with the client's culture, practices, and processes, technical operations in general, and cyber operations.
  • Experience analyzing network packet capture or net flow data for assessment of intrusion and/or vulnerabilities.
  • Understanding of computer networks and familiarity with technical collection capabilities and field operations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the entire computer network and ability to research, analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and to work several tasks concurrently.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with client systems, processes and practices to create formal and informal communications with client partners.
