Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:
Network Emulation Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

You will work with a cutting-edge team focused on the design, engineering, and implementation of client networks. In this role, you are the creative architect and engineer that will enable activities focused on a wide range of client priorities. You will apply your technical expertise using specialized methodologies and digital tools to plan, initiate, support, secure, and execute digital network models to support our customer's mission. You will utilize your skillsets in intrusion detection and analysis, operational support, and forensics analysis to support mission critical activities every day.
Qualifications:
- Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a network engineer.
- Experience using industry standards and open source technologies from a layered security perspective.
- Experience using Windows penetration testing tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, prioritize, problem solve, and work on complex network security problems, and communicate your findings through written and oral products.
- Ability to administer commercial UNIX, LINUX, and Windows systems.
- Deep knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash and PowerShell, as well as Python.
- Experience with LAN Management & Network Practices to include: Network performance monitoring, Log audit and analysis, Virtualized environment configuration and troubleshooting, and familiarity with multiple various vendor products.
- Demonstrated understanding of complex computer networks, mobile networks, and RF technology, along with a familiarity with technical collection capabilities and field operations.
- DESIRED: Experience conducting penetration testing against enterprise environments.
- DESIRED: Computer network and protocol implementation and management (this element includes programming and configuring routers, hubs, switches, and network operating systems)
- DESIRED: Desktop computer and server hardware systems development, to include embedded systems design and implementation.
- DESIRED: Internetworking application design, deployment, and operation (this element includes the ability to configure and implement commercial Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
